In her publication, Prof. Sader examines the Aramean state of Syria and their transformation into Assyrian provinces. In six chapters she illustrates this transformation on the basis of six former cities and the cuneiform inscriptions found.
 
Prof. Hélène S. Sader is Professor at the Department of History and Archaeology at the AUB. Her research interests focus on the History and Archaeology of Syria in the first Millenium.
