Ibn Abī Zaid was one of the most famous Maliki scholars in the 4th century A.C. The author Matthias Bredlow examines the chapter on jihad of the major work Kitāb al-Nawādir by Ibn Abī Zaid. Beside the edited manuscript, Bredlow adds a short summary on the subjects dealt within.
