The Kitāb al-Wāḍiḥa written by ʿAbd al-Malik b. Ḥabīb is an early compendium of the Malikite law. In Qairawān some fragments written on parchment were found, which deal with several rites. ʿAbd al-Malik analyses the ahadithes on these topics and comments on them.
Beatrix Ossendorf-Conrad dealt with ritual purity and Miklos Muranyi edited the manuscripts on prayer and pilgrimage.
