Research Working Groups focus on:
• The European Union
• NATO
• Hybrid Threats, Including Disinformation
• Support to Free and Fair Elections
• Protection of Civilians and Conflict-Related Sexual Violence
The membership in the International Research Working Groups is for a four-year period, starting August 1, 2025. While the position is voluntary-based and thus not remunerated, members have the opportunity to apply for FBA’s Research Grants, i.e. research funding for policy-relevant research projects, awarded annually through a competitive process. They are also eligible to undertake consultancy assignments, which may include tasks such as writing a report, participating in a full-day seminar, or similar activities.
