This work is based on a collection of the Pharaon family in Beirut. In the first part, the author gives an explanation about the family Pharaon. In the second part, she continues with the cataloguing and explanation of the two houses of the Pharaon family in Aleppo and Damascus. In the third part, Duda describes the inscriptions found in these two buildings.
Dorothea Dudas research interests focuses on Islamic manuscripts, which she currently edits from the Austrian academy of sciences.
