Dr. Barraq joined the staff of the OIB in 2012. His work focuses on reviewing and proofreading the Institute’s Arabic-language publications, particularly the “Bibliotheca Islamica” series.
He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Saint Joseph University in Beirut. His research interests center on Arab and Islamic political thought -both classical and contemporary- Islamic movements, and East-West relations, in addition to his interest in Arabic Philology.
