The College awards up to 20 Senior Fellowships to advanced international scholars in the social sciences and humanities with an outstanding research profile. Senior Fellows have the opportunity to pursue an independent research project with a tandem partner from the University Alliance Ruhr (University of Duisburg-Essen, Ruhr University Bochum, TU Dortmund University). The six-month research fellowships at the College in Essen may start in March or September 2026.
