OIB Library offers its services and access to its collections to researchers on basis of an annual fee( See Rules)

In order to register as library user the following information is required in English language. The application process should be completed by submitting the fees at the circulation desk during its office hours, upon which a Library ID card will be issued. The annual fee is 250.000 LBP.

The Orient Institut Beirut takes the protection of personal data seriously. Please inform yourself about data protection on the website of our parent institution, the Max Weber Foundation.

Please note that you have to inform library staff of any changes in your name, address,  phone number, or e-mail and also immediately inform them if you have lost your library card. You cannot pass your library card on to other persons.
